Hello everyone! We are Kirstie and Tyler Dobson. We said our “I do”s” July 2nd, 2022 at Serenity Barn LLC. We have been a great team and love life together.

We chose to open a wedding venue because we think Iron River is one of the most beautiful Northwoods places in the Upper Peninsula. We want to share the beauty of this town. Our venue is surrounded by lakes that are absolutely stunning and great for camping, fishing, boating, and tubing. Plenty of rental cabins and hotels near by. Our location is perfect to have access to everything you will need. A kind and helping community makes this perfect for tourists. We strive to show people just how amazing this town is.

The property began restoration in April of 2021! We worked side by side to restore this property along with amazing local companies. We love what we do together. We both have put our hearts and soul into the creation of Serenity Barn. We are both extremely kind and loving people with an adorable little family.

We fell in love, then fell in love with the creation of Serenity Barn. We want to share our venue with other’s that have a one-in-a-lifetime-love-wedding. So that the most loving, intimate, passionate, and significant moments continue to flourish at Serenity Barn. We want this barn to continue its history in Iron River. The barn was built in the nineteen hundreds . We continue to Hay the fields and keep part of its history going. We want to start a new life for this barn. A barn that carries nothing but loving memories in it. This barn was built with labor, sweat, and tears by those long ago. Today we celebrate the beauty of the barn. We carry on the pride of owning such a masterpiece of a barn and property.
